Really surprising to me considering GM stepped up to the plate big time in the performance department while Ford is still offering basically the exact same performance we've had since '11. The new Camaro SS absolutely stomps the Mustang GT, and is far too close to the 56k GT350 for comfort. Once the 1LE comes out it is likely it will outperform it on track as well for 15k less. Hopefully at that point Ford will step it up. But if they sell cars, they won't. Same as it was from '93-'02.

I think one of the reasons is the new Camaro looks very similar to the old one. Not enough difference to get people to trade in the older style. The 15 Mustang was a radical departure from the outgoing model.
