    Keystone/PRP new entrance

Hoping the weather cooperates for Saturday, even though I'm just leaning on the fence. In case you missed this on the track's website:

    Track entrance change

03-25-2016 The entrance to the track, for both racers and spectators, is changing. All entrance to the track will be via the entrance directly on Route 22 (the former motocross gate). Coming from the west, the entrance is shortly before the Stone Jug turn. Coming from the east, stay on Route 22 through the light at Stone Jug, and pass the track. About 1/4 mile past the track, there is a left hand turning lane to circle back to Route 22 east, to come back to the Route 22 entrance to the track.

Chuck, have any info on why they did this?
It would seem like this would cause two issues 1. Backing up traffic onto 22
    2. The last time I went in the motocross entrance (a few years ago when they used both) it was all rough gravel... PRP already gets enough complaints about the gravel in the stone jug road gate.

Is this temporary because they're going to pave the other one or what?

Also, just an FYI, but the PRP website doesn't work for me. I get an internal server error. At least if I click the link on a google search. It seems to work if I type it in manually

Go past there twice a month and that is still a dirt/gravel road.

I think the only time I had to enter that way last season was bracket finals weekend at the end of October. From what I recall, take your time coming in off 22, I think there is a lip on the transition from the asphalt to the entry road. Packed dirt/gravel road, I don't remember kicking up any rocks. The booths are well in off the road, so I think traffic backing up should not be a problem.

That's strange about the KRP/PRP website. A buddy of mine said the same thing. It's in my favorites, still comes right up for me.
