First street kill of the year

Well i finaly got some time on a nice day to take the car out and just cruise around. Took a ride through South Park and such. Got alot of thumbs up and some nice cars along the way. On my way home i spied a newer Saleen Mustang. I said to myself "Aw see if he wants to have some fun." Got behind it to see that it was a 2002-2004 Saleen S281 speedster. Beautiful car by the way. Silver with the 18" chrome wheels. This was the supercharged model so i think it has 375hp?

Anyway i get along side him on a nice straight stretch and give him the look. He nods and drops it down a gear. From a 30 mph roll it was pretty ugly. I let off after I had him by 20 cars or so. At the next light he yells over "whats in there?" I said "Oh, just a supercharged V8 like you have" and drove away. Nice car and good race. I went home happy.

I raced that guy before too. He showed me under the hood after the race. It's a v6 supercharged powerplant. Nice kill anyway Rio.

Fronts will be 26X7.5X15 M/T Sportsman Fronts

Rears will be 27X10.5X15 M/T ET Streets

Il be DOT approved again. Like you said, the car bogged off the line. That explains my worse 60' from last year but a better ET. Im gonan run like 17-18 psi in them to try to not bog and gain some MPH on the top end. They are slightly shorter .3 inches than my slicks as well.

Say, you wouldnt be interested in my slicks would you? They are the same size you run.

Sounds like a nice combo for the strip/street. I'm alright with the slicks I have for now, thanks for the offer though.
