    Nascar Driving Experience

Has anyone ever done one? The Rusty Wallace driving experience is coming up here to Jennerstown Speedway in a couple weeks and again in September. Im probably gonna sign up. With it being so close to me and always wanting to drive one it's hard to pass up. Just wondering what to expect. They offer a few different packages, insurance for the race car, and a ride along add-on.

Friend of mine did one and liked it. I wanna say it was a gift for him though.

He said they're a lot harder to drive than expected.

I thought about doing it, but there was something about the insurance I remember that turned me off of it.

Buddy of mine did it at Motordrome a couple years ago. Said it was pretty cool, but if you start getting out of shape and/or passing everybody else they scream at you on the radio in your helmet.

I can't stop thinking about teh first Jackass movie when he rents that car, denies the insurance, demolishes it, brings it back on flat-bed, then says the insurance "is all just paperwork". LOLOL

Yeah that's what's turning me off to it. The insurance. They charge you 60 bucks which covers 1k bucks from what I understand from it. Hell that won't cover shit if I pancake the side of the car. I'll think about it until September. I think I'm gonna go to Carlisle instead this week and blow the money on a few more rearend parts for my Mach 1 if I can find them up there. Usually I drive up there and don't find shit.

My dad and I did the "ride along" at Motordrome a couple years ago. It was cool but not as good as I was hoping for. I'm sure actually driving the car is a lot more fun, but when I went it was a gift.

I'd rather just take my own car to Pittrace for a PDE, will learn a lot more for sure.

    Nascar Driving Experience

$60 gets you a $1000 deductible. I've done the experience three times now. It's pretty cool.

Group-on usually has 50-70% off specials.
