    Trying to decide on tires

    Group,

I need some new tires for the stang and have been tossing around 2 different brands. presently I have Nitto 555's And they have given me good wear and good handling etc. I have priced them and Goodyear Eagle Supercar. The Good Years are much cheaper and that scares me. I want to buy American as much as I can but something tells me I will not be happy with them. Anybody have any experience with them? The sizes I need are 255/45-18 front and 285/40-18 rear. Trying to find a manufacturer that makes both of those tires in the same " model" is not an easy task. I also saw Continental Extremecontact DW's but have not experience with that brand. Any ideas- thoughts???

    Thanks

    Sam

The nittos are cheap but suck compared to a lot of other tires.
I wish there were more options in a 315/35/17 personally

They are a terrible tire performance wise. But they do last a long time and they are pretty cheap.

Darren - what size did you go with, where'd you get them, and if you don't mind how much were they?

I just put a set of Bridgestone RE760's on my Cobra. Will report back once they get broken in.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
