Those door panels look decent...on a capris what does dash look like?
Do they offer a tube cradle for that model?

Dash is the same as any 4 eye fox ... Scott Rod make an aluminum one but a wrinkle is a lot of classes I run specifically call out a "stock" dash
if cradle = k member, it's the same as a mustang and I have one
Esslinger makes 4 aluminum heads from a street type hear to a full race one used in Midget cars ... The problem is the alloy is like clamping peanut butter in a turbo application ... Cylinder pressure tries to lift it and it crushes the head under the bolts ... As of right now, it's not off anymore, lol
While its apart, I decided to swap turbines ... It's - .63 now, going to a .82 ... Turned out more complicated than I planned since it moved the turbo up an inch, messed with everything around it
I always enjoy reading about this little Mercury.
Got the motor back together and started last night ... Upped the turbine housing from .63 to a .82 and upgraded injectors from 80# to 124# ... Amazing enough, it idles very good on pretty big injectors ... I'm staying on gas for now, but it's ready for E85 if I ever want to move that way
mmmmm corn I want to try that too

U plan on turning the wick up with the upgrades bob? This car has always been one of my favorites to watch.
Going to stay at 10.90 through the summer, not much point in cranking it up in heat and humidity .... The plan is to work things out that I have the right pieces in place for the stick shift shootout in Bowling Green, then see if I can take a shot at that.
going to work on the tune up on the dyno next week. That will answer some questions for me.
Yea that makes sense. Good luck at the shoot out.
I will need to deal with fuel rail, regulator, and lines at a minimum before I think about cord fed ...
how much pump do you have ?
