The only fuel system components allowed on the firewall is a gauge isolator "if" braided lines are used. Like I said, will it really ever be teched? Not likely, but 6" ahead of the flying bits off the back of the block is the rule. That's why you see so many mounted on inner fenders and such.

Prp's tech is amusing....i went 8.6 with a street bar
    There was a 8.2 camaro with a 6 pt
There was 8.1 mustang that flipped with a 10pt
    There was a 7.9 firebird with a 10pt

So not likely prp is gonna say shit when much worse things are let go

Hahaha. They sure do! They seem to think the grass is always greener but in reality, it's not. I'm happy where I am now, just wish I had more garage space. I'm in the process now of consolidating my properties to put up a 30x30. I bought the lot behind my house last year. Without going deep into detail, I can get a permit to build a 30x30 easily but it will have to attach to my house with a breezeway.

Eventually after he graduates, I'll more than likely move a few miles out of town and do a real garage. Being limited with the available land sucks.

Isnt that the property that wasn't giving you problems a few years back? The house or building or whatever that was on it was kinda run down or not very well kept or something. I think u were wanting to pull the whole thing down w ur truck at the time or something... Lmao

That's it. You saw the house. I had the house removed then applied to the county to purchase the property. I closed on it in September last year

Good deal! I remember on my fox, I had the FPR mounted to the firewall in basically the same place. I went through tech a few times with no issues.

    Thanks also! I appreciate it.

That would be nice. I'm thinking Cecil area. Not necessarily Cecil exactly but in that range.

Haha. Exactly! They were trying to say I had to apply for a sheriff sale and I would be responsible for the back taxes and all. I went a different route with imminent domain and the back taxes were exonerated. I got it with a clean slate.

Just my 2 cents, but I would relocate the regulator, first and foremost for safety, secondly to avoid a potential fail point at tech (at any track). I have seen ring gears break off of flexplates and inflict damage bouncing around.

I finally pulled my transmission out today and getting ready to put in the new built one. Having these hooker 1 3/4 long tubes and taking them off is putting me one step closer to going with the Scoenfeld headers. Those are 1 7/8 stepped to 2" with a 3.5" collector. These hookers pissed me off more than you can possibly imagine. I guess we will see. The only reason I didn't get them before was the HVAC box. You can't run them with it in place. Now that I don't have it, might as well put them on now.
