That's what I did.. bought there show car ready kit with an orbital polisher worth every penny. I was chasing swirl marks in my truck and car.
I built my own. If you plan in doing this yourself get into the autoality detailers club. You will save a lot of money. Also Harbor Freight sells a nice DA polisher. You can then buy a 5.5 backing plate and buff N shine pads at autoality. I have a Griots Garage DA. Harbor Freight one looks just as nice. Also HD Cut and HD Polish is compound. No dust like meguires.
Just worked with the Meguiars yesterday. I've never seen anything produce less dust, actually. I'm talking zero. ZERO! Not sure what you were using though.
I was using 105 and 205 meguires. They definitely work well but they put off dust.
