Revamping the look of the stang.

Long story short I hit a groundhog last summer and it wrecked my front spoiler. It was fiberglass and I fixed it but the fix created stress cracks from old to new so I decided to freshen up the front with a new Roush front end. Here are some progress photos:

Stay tuned for more photos after more parts arrive. I had to get a lot of GT parts that are non existent on the V6 model. Should be here by the end of the week.

I have a bunch of excellent condition suspension parts from my GT that will likely fit this car. I upgraded in the spring to an Eibach system. The parts are very low miles and priced to move, and will make it handle better than the average 6 cyl. Pretty much the whole set up. Listed on Craigslist. Will sell as a full set or in pieces.

front sway bar with mounting bushings - $75
rear sway bar with mounting bushings and drop links - $75
    panhard bar - $50
front struts - $75 for the pair
rear shocks - $75 for the pair
front springs - $50 for the pair
rear springs - $50 for the pair

I will sell the set as a complete set for a discount of $400. OBO

You really want me to be in divorce court! This bumper conversion is costing a fortune as it is.... Thanks for the offer.

Ha Sam - it's only money
All kidding aside, I feel for you. Last year driving home from work fairly late I hit a raccoon and it killed the front valence, bumper cover, lower radiator, etc. Had to have a tow, and I missed my Pitt Race DE that was scheduled for the upcoming weekend. Those critters can do a lot of damage to our low sitting cars.

Well almost done. Still have to put the headlight splitters back on and the stainless radiator support cover. I am pleased with the way it turned out. WP_20160612_20_38_24_Pro.jpgWP_20160612_20_39_11_Pro.jpgWP_20160612_20_39_17_Pro.jpgWP_20160612_20_39_32_Pro.jpg

    Which one???? LOL I have a 1946, 1937 & 1949 all model B but all look quite different.... In order of 1946 ( Mine)JD & Stang.jpg 1937 ( Oldest Daughter's)
DSCN0194_zpszmqeoll7.jpg 1949 in restoration process, Youngest daughter. DSCN0268_zpsirzqtfdd.jpg These are great father daughter time. It is a lot of money to do but not nearly the money of a car restoration, and much simpler!
