    New best 60'

Went to Mason Dixon today for the Ford race, great day in the sun at the race track! Capri was 1.44 on the first time hit, for the second one it went 1.40 for a new best! Of course the first round of eliminations it laid over a bit 20' out and didn't run the number. I got a test pass in after and it went 1.43 ... Once I get that little hitch worked out it should be ready to turn up down track.

I've used 666 as my track number ancestors Keystone changed timing systems and I couldn't use 2300 any more. It fits ....

I really thought a 1.45 was going to be about the best it could ever do ... Went 1.44, 1.40, 1.43 so I guess it could be there with better air. We obviously chase good DA at Mason but it wasn't there Sunday, 2200' most of the day.

Nice. That is one of my favorite cars to watch go down the track. Along with everyone scratching their heads wondering if it's a 4 cylinder car.

Thanks, I try to entertain ... Chuck does a good job talking up the 4 banger at local stuff, people still question it.

ive got a goal set before the signature gets updated.

I'm not sure on best, but pretty common for some of the late fall days to be -300 to -500 feet during the early part of the day But goes up quick

Indeed, I've seen it change 500 feet over and hour or so. We have been there when it's hung (-) all day as well. It's not like Cecil or MIR, but 600' better than "home" true elevation anyway. It's not like you are going to take a 11.60 car there and run 11.30's anyway.

Sunday was beautiful, but the DA started at ~2200' (humidity driven), as the sun got out it started to dry the humidity out, the temperature went up and the DA stayed around 2200'.
