Kevin Barlow signed a one year deal with the Steelers. This looks to be an interesting signing. He has been a good back with San Fran but didnt get much use with the Jets.

I dont know why they dont give Davenport more of a chance.. I really liked what I saw of him especially when I was at the games live where you could really watch him.. He covers the ball like JB did and runds like a rookie stud I think... Get him some more time in the real action and I think he might be a really good compliment to FWP
looks promising but he has not signed yet according to:

The Steelers this afternoon signed veteran running back Kevan Barlow to a one-year contract that will pay him $595,000 plus a $40,000 roster bonus.
Barlow, who played for Pitt and Peabody High School, was released this year for salary cap reasons by the New York Jets, who acquired him last August from San Francisco for a fourth-round draft choice. Barlow played his first five seasons with the 49ers, who drafted him in the third round in 2001.
Barlow is Pitt's seventh-leading career rusher with 2,438 yards.
