    ISO: My dad's 1970 Coronet R/T

Ckelly91lx5.0's thread inspired me to make a thread on this. I am not looking to buy (at the moment) but simply just to find/get info on. Hell, I just want to find the car all of my uncles talked about when I was a kid.

I have been on the hunt for my dad's old car that he sold before I was born. It is a 1970 Coronet R/T Convertible. He bought it somewhere out near Century 3 mall around 1977-78 and sold in 1981 to a guy in the Robinson area. As of about 3-4 years ago my uncle told me he ran into the guy who bought the car and said that it's still in the same spot he parked it in when he blew the motor up sometime in the mid-late 1980s. All my uncle could remember was it was in Robinson, but no vicinity or couldn't recall the guy's name. Anyways, it's a 440/4speed car, convertible as mentioned, and it would be originally Sublime green but painted gray when my dad owned it. Had chrome Cragar classics from what I recall in his only picture of it (didn't every car back then have cragar classics?)

Any information the you old muscle car heads might have would be greatly appreciated. I have talked to Mopar guys here and there at local car shows but have dug up nothing.

Bonus points, he also owned a 1970 Grand Prix Model J from about 1982-1993, originally yellow, then brown then green. Last seen probably around 2000-2001 in the West End area of the city. I would like to find this one too.

    Thanks!
    Dan

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
