How about a 2015 Charger Scat Pack. They come in blue. No manual but has paddle shifters and full auto for traffic jams. 4 doors, 485 horsepower, lots of creature comforts. Add DRs and run 12's. All for mid to high 30's with low miles. Its not a Ford but where I live thats ok. Mopar or NO car.

If it had 3-pedals I'd be intrigued! We had an '08 Jeep SRT-8... I'm not opposed to a Hemi badge... just addicted to shifting.

    LSWhatever, not so much!

I think Daniel would like it if he took his drivers test in a supercharged Marauder with a T-56 in it...

Dad might think it was pretty neat too...

I am still all about the manual swapped marauder.

Way cheaper and fits the rest of the criteria.

I'm just too sentimental about my Marauder and really like it the way it is. And, in my book of automotive history, the Marauder chapter has already been written, read, and reminisced. Otherwise... I'd be all about it too.

The 550i should be ready Monday or Tuesday, and I pulled the trigger and ordered a set of used M5 mufflers from another forum guy. It will be great to finally hear that car sing.

Still, I keep checking cars.com and car gurus for a dark blue Town Car that has a light interior, no carriage roof and isn't 2,000 miles away.

if I settled for a car with some miles on it I'd really knock the cost down.

Plan A seems to be working, but Plan B hasn't gone away.

That is really the dumbest thing ever. Picked up a '12 135i for my wife couple months ago, original battery still in it. Of course it dies one day. Couldn't jump it. Ended up leaving her Mazda connected to it up front, changed battery, then finally found a indy shop in Penn Township that could register the battery to the car. Dealer was like a 3 week wait and they wanted 300 dolllars. Thankfully she is going to race it so I'm sure I won't have any other issues with it ever again :) (sarcasm)

This echoes what I have heard from guys who don't want money from you, banging off the limiter (2 steps as well) are what really kills OPGs, shock loads primarily. Which makes sense because I have seen failures with autocross cars (they love bouncing on the limiter) and have read about them with drag cars. I spun mine to 7900 countless times never had an issue, although I avoided the limiter.

Wait, so my twisted dream Town Car could turn 7900 rpm's with better OPP's... err...OPG's?

Obviously, if you have plans to tear into a coyote to but better rods and pistons. You would do the OPGs. But, I dont think it is a necessary part if your not running over 650whp. Get a good tuner, raise the limiter and stay off it. The motor should live a good life.

Another one for Plan B... from a friend who is a BMW tech, cut it loose and run away after the new lease it up.

Modular anything FTW. There is a Terminator-powered Crown Vic online that is super sweet, that would be my vote.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
