Gotta give props to PennDot

I had a purple and white classic plate that I hadn't used in about 8 years. I tried to put it on my Camaro and it was rejected because it had been purged from the system. Some-one named Cindy in the research department at PennDot found a copy of the owner's card from 8 years ago on microfilm proving I owned the plate. It took about 10 weeks to get it straightened out, but I am glad I get to keep the purple and white plate. I am also glad she went the extra mile for me. It would have been much easier for her to just issue a new plate and tell me that one was dead.

It's been 2or 3 years already for the classic plate. It's been longer than that for the antique plate I think.

Probably the first time ever that PennDOT didn't end up turning an easy job into a cluster****. Unfortunately Cindy will realize she is too smart for the job and move on to bigger and better things.
