Nice to see some other F-bodies in here Cam. I have a 99 TransAm. Motor internals are all stock, but it has a Volant CAI, Potz P&P throttle body, Borla exhaust, and 3.73 gears with a T56 tranny. I hit an SUV in the rear with it one day in the rain so had to put a new front clip on it. Now I'm waiting to get it painted again. Bought a house this summer instead. The first pic is before I wrecked it.

I thought it was SOM when I bought it. Flew all the way out to Colorado Springs and drove it back because I wanted an orange one. It was a one owner car and it had 222 miles on it when she bought it. Later, I found out that there was a one year gap in f bodies that didn't offer a metallic orange and it was 1999. The original color of the car was Pewter Metallic, but everything was painted on it, even the engine bay. I'm not sure exactly what color it actually is, but the GM Copper Metallic matches it really well. I had to cut the core support out of it and weld in a new one so that's what color we painted the core support. I'm gonna paint it GM CM when I re paint it this time so the engine bay will match. The car was gonna stay all original until I found out the paint wasn't original. Now the gearhead in me is taking over. Eventually, I'm gonna redo the motor, but I'm trying to keep it below 400hp until I can get rid of the 10 bolt rear and put a 12 bolt in it. Once the rear end is done, I'm thinking maybe a H/C swap on the original motor, and I'm gonna start saving for an LSx.
