Finally picked up a new daily driver

Well, after driving every one I know crazy on trying to decide what to do, I finally bought something. 2014 Fusion with the 2.0 Ecoboost. Fun car! Sure is light years ahead of my 2006 Taurus with 143k miles.

12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

HAHA - the infamous MPG question. It is rated at 240 hp. Pretty quick little car! I am seeing 23 mpg on it so far.

The funny thing is the highest performing car in the 80s was the Mustang with 225 hp! Gotta love technology!

We should have a daily driver day at the track. I'd love to run a 2.0 Fusion in my 2.0 Optima!

A day at the track in a daily driver is still better than not being there at all!

Took the car to Columbus yesterday. What a nice cruiser. I was getting about 28 mpg and averaging about 80mph on the highway

Those two seem to swing from the gas mileage nuts. I would love to hear what John got in the sweet highboy he had. That was a man's truck.

I'm as anti-green as they come. I just like jaggin' John since he's very excitable when it comes to MPG's.

If saving money at the pump means I'm being "green"....then I would like that label.

Can't understand why someone wouldn't want to be able to run 10's and still get 20mpg driving around but instead think it's cool to run the same number but get 7mpg.

Efficiency brings power....it's not a secret.

As much as I liked my Fusion, I am trading it in tomorrow for an upgrade - 2017 Fusion Sport (2.7 Ecoboost AWD). Can't wait! Pics tomorrow!
