PRP results

Well, I tried out my new ET Streets last night. I am a little disappointed. My best was 12.46 at 112. I noticed that these 17" tires are at least an inch taller than my regular street tires. I ran through the traps at about 1000-1500 less than I would have with my drag radials. I guess I either have to switch to 4.10s or a smaller set of ET Streets. Or do you think I need more seat time? My best 60' was 1.76. Any suggestions?

How much air were you running?

They are capable of more than that. I was coming off the line at 3k rpms and got 1.65-1.69 on mine at the last rental.

I was running 15 psi. I was doing 4K launches (it was fun!). They are brand new so maybe they need to break in a little.

They seem to like 15 psi so I would say that you're on track there.

Hey Sean, do you know what rpm you make peak power at and what height the tire will be? And a bias or radial type construction? And lastly, what is, what will be the trap speed?

Sean did you get the 17" and do they kick on your ABS light? How's stopping at the end of the track, do you have to pump them to get correct pedal pressure?

I will have to do a little digging around to find out my peak power. The tires are bias but I do not know the hieght. I will get back to you.

Hey Tom,
The ABS light comes on about a mile of driving. the stopping isn't too bad. the pedal seems a little stiff but I have not had to pump them. I will give you a call this weekend. I haven't talk to you in a while.
