New pb for me. New tires made a big difference. No more spinning, just hook and go.What a great day to race, got 6 runs. I saw the Triumph, nice runs. Not many bikes today but lots of slick cars. Yard work can wait.

Ten yards? Are you doing Heinz Field?

Best time of 12.33 @112. Goal is 11s. Time for a little more boost and better driving. Manual shift cars are tougher but I like to shift.

What car do you have? How about posting your time slip.

Perfect day. Nice crowd. Some really nice cars. GTR went 7.80. This Monte was doing crazy wheelies, literally on the bumper. It was still going up here.

How the heck can you tell if you're going straight when the nose is in the air like that? Seems like you'd have no frame of reference and looking to the side would be sketchy.

New pb for me in the driver's seat as well. The car has gone faster with a more experienced driver - but managed a 10.90 yesterday with me in the seat. Beautiful day and lots of fast cars yesterday

I drive a 2014 Challenger. 5.7 hemi, Procharger at 4 lbs. Stock bottom end should take 8 lbs. If I can runs high 11s and keep it streetable without breaking the bank I'll be happy. If I want to go faster it would be cheaper to buy a Hellcat. Got to know your limitations. I dont know how to post timeslip or I would. I just drive for the thrill, always going to be someone faster.

I drive a 2014 Challenger. 5.7 hemi, Procharger currently running 4 lbs. Should be able to run 8 lbs with stock bottom end. I want to keep it streetable and run 11s without spending a fortune.

Ron, as long as it goes up straight, it will come down straight. Some of the cars that get twisted off the line are the ones that get squirrelly coming down, most times. That's assuming the back tires are planted. When one or both come off, it's scary. This is a friend of mine, pass from a few years back at US13. She tried to pedal it out, still went straight when it landed, but it landed HARD.

I wouldn't want my car to drop off the jackstands with the wheels on, let alone from that height!

Thanks Chuck. It just seems like a tiny bit of an angle left or right can have you almost crossing the center line or scraping the wall. I guess if you're not sure then just let out of it...but not so quick that you bounce the front end too hard.
