    Carlisle Ford show

Anyone going to the Ford show at Carlisle beginning of June? I'm thinking of going. Someone gave me three day passes and a car pass for free. Never been before.

    I may be going.
Ive gone 3 years I think. It is a good time. The show is mainly Saturday.
Parts section is huge, mostly full of junk, but you can find some gold in there sometimes.
I found a 3 core procharger intercooler for $80 one year. Had a blown out weld. Had it welded for like $40. It is a $800 intercooler lol

I was wondering what day was best. Is it worth putting your car in the show? I guess it makes parking easier. Can you come and go very easy at all with your car there?

Saturday is probably the best day to go. If you have the gate and go, you can come and go as you like regardless of how many people are in your car. I would go for the show alone!

Yeah, Saturday is the best day. Friday isn't bad. Sunday sucks, a lot of people don't even show up. I usually just check the awards list and leave on Sunday.
Putting your car in the show is worth it just for being able to park in the show field.

Unless you are a Capri, then they stick you so far out on the end, you need your EZ Pass to cross the turnpike, and you aren't sure you are still in the same county, lol.

I'm not this year. The KDWs on my mach 1 are cracking so I need to pickup a set of NT05s before I drive it out of town. Damn tires are currently on backorder though.

Pretty solid. First time I've ever been that it didn't rain. Parts section seems to be dwindling a bit maybe though ?

I felt the used parts section keeps getting smaller and smaller each year ( each show for that matter including spring and fall Carlisle ). Seems like manufacturer's midway keeps taking up more and more rows each show. There are deals to be had on the manufacturer's midway, but the used parts seemed to be being gobbled up by eBay and Craigslist.

Forums and Facebook really killed the parts swap meets in general, not just Carlisle. Especially Facebook. Facebook groups have kind of killed forums now too.
