Swapped back to my RXT clutch and straight cut transmission. Flywheel insert was rather used up.

Holy hell.
What kind of clutches do you like that you have tried ?
Going to be needing something for roughly 600~ flywheel in 26 spline and 11"
Just a little 500 whp V6
My default for most things driven, and occasionally raced is the Ram Powergrip HD. There is lots of details right about that clutch in my opinion. That is what was used on this insert and it served very well.
i would avoid anything made by SPEC these days. They advertise great holding power but get there by jacking up the pressure plate pressure versus good friction materials
if you want 1000 hp with a pedal lighter than stock look at RXT from McLeod. It's in my bell right now. Skip right over the RST, nothing good there in my opinion
That's what I heard about the RST as well. Went with the RXT in my '66. Pricey but worth it.
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.
1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
I was looking at ram clutches.
Trying to figure out if the 11" 26 spline clutch for a V8 will bolt to a v6 flywheel.
The Rxt is probably more than I want to spend.

I didn't have a good day Saturday (driver sucked), but new clutch set up is working
So how flat is that insert really? Last time I changed one it warped so badly once unbolted.

2004 Mustang GT - Comp Orange/5speed Best 1/4 11.94@113.64, 1/8 7.59@89.48, 1.57 60' - Best 60' 1.51, just a NA 2v
It is like a bowl, same thing as I unbolted it, it pulled into a cup .. if I lay it down upside down on the outer edge, the inside is 1/8" higher
