First Import ever into the 8's on 93 octane

Being fellow gearheads I thought you guys would appreciate this. I drove Dave Buschur's GTR this weekend into the 8's on 93 octane. No other Import has ever done this.

We made 4 - 8 sec passes. 2 x 8.7's, 8.8, 8.9 We also went 160 MPH on Saturday night. I can't wait to dial it in on slicks and knock a few 10th's off it.

What makes this really special is that this was done on M&H DR's (no slicks) and on stock manifolds.

Here's vids of one of the 8.7 passes. Sorry for the poor quality. Enjoy!

Oddly enough, I had the previous 93 octane record at 9.04 in my car. LOL

He was originally going to sell his shop however, the deal didn't work out so he's now out of retirement...lol He did sell the Shootout to D-Sport Mag owner Mike F and that deal is done.
