Sunday to have an Old Farts Race. I'm hoping I can run that one I know I'm old enough
The track just had bracket finals, so the full schedule should be up today at some point I'm guessing. Here is the flyer, if I can get it to post. Friday night is test and tune, for everyone and anyone. Saturday gates open at 9am, time trials start at 11am, and racing won't stop until everything is done, probably midnight at least. Southern Slingshots (front engine dragsters and altered) run at 3pm, 5:30pm, and 8pm. Nostalgia funny cars run at 5pm and 8pm. I think the Gassers run at 5pm and 8pm also. Fireworks Sat night after the 8pm show car runs. Don Garlits will be here with one of the Swamp Rats, and he will cackle it on the track. He'll actually be here Friday, setting up and talking to the fans. Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock on Saturday only, Tri State Stock/Super Stock both days. It is one huge awesome show. The car cruise field is incredible. Hot Rod Eliminator (footbrake and Box/Electronics classes) bracket racing cars must be 1980 and older.
I can't get the flyer to paste in here. :(
See if this works
Thanks fellas!

I'm trying to get some clarification on rules for the stick races before the weekend. Typically the race is run under UMTR and also a points race for Pro Stick. My car isn't legal under UMTR as I run a clutch tamer so I stay away rom their stuff. Saw on the UMTR site that Pro Stick is running the fast class this year ... That's good, except Pro Stick has a no DOT tire rule. It's amazing I cant run my street stick car in a stick class without confusion if I'm "legal".
One of my favorite events of the year and as of now, weather is looking awesome.
I'm planning on running my 61 with the Nostalgia Super Stock guys, but not sure if that is going to happen now. My car is at a friends garage up on a lift tore apart and unfortunately his son was in a bad sprint car wreck over the weekend and had to be life flighted. At this point in time, I'm Not sure what kind of access he or I will have to the car in the coming days.
I'm kind of talking out loud here....
Hot Rod Eliminator footbrake (1980 and older cars)
Hot Rod Eliminator electronics (transbrakes and delay boxes, 1980 and older cars)
UMTR
Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock (Sat only)
Tri State Stock/Super Stock
Gassers
Southern Slingshots
Nostalgia Funny Cars
And I think Nostalgic Notions runs on Saturday only too.
Old Farts race on Sunday (drivers have to be over 60, cars have to be 1980 and older)
Non stop action both days. Well worth the price of admission.
Car and Driver Free Entry? I am bringing the Chevelle, but not racing it.
Car cruise, yes, car and driver free entry.
Friday - test and tune open to anyone, gates open 4pm, racing 6:30pm-midnight, everyone uses Stone Jug Road entrance.
Saturday and Sunday, all spectators use Route 22 entrance, racers can use either entrance, and car cruise participants use Stone Jug Road entrance.
To race in Hot Rod Eliminator, car has to be 1986 or older. Any year car with a manual can race in Pro Stick/UMTR (11.99 and quicker) or UMTR Street Stick, but check their rules.
