Thread: Nostalgic Drags - next weekend 9/23-24

  1. #21
Bob, yes, flyer is wrong (smdh), like Steve said, posted on the site and FB page that it is 1986 and older for the Hot Rod Eliminator bracket classes. The stick shift classes take any year, as does Tri State Stock/Super Stock.

Carb and an auto FTW!!!! Welcome to the land of knuckle draggers!!

Heads up for those heading out tonight. Entrance is loaded up with trailers. That was at 2:40 when I went by. Saw lots more heading to track.

Packed house tonight, biggest TnT I've ever seen. If tonight was any indication for tomorrow, it's going to be HUGE

Great day today at the track. Saw a car crack 200mph, saw a nice '65 coupe with 3 pedals run 10.01, saw Bob and Travis run, and lots of great racing and cars at the cruise. Awesome sunny day, met and spent time talking with a bunch of nice people, and had lots of fun with Lilly. Fireworks were nice too.

Dang it was warm. But a great time.

Thanks. I made some changes this past week and was hoping to pick up a little and actually ended up losing about 2-3 tenths. Usually runs 1230s-40s or so, but was dialed in at 1260 all day.

    Congrats Travis! That's awesome!

I made it for the 5pm show session, and left about 10. The Citation funny car going 200mph was awesome. A couple more of those could definitely hit it and go well above, and deep into the 6s, but they have a weird 7.0 index.

    This one, Ron?

We talked with Dennis for a good while. Super nice guy. Some pretty darn good driving skills too!
