    N/A 2011 Coyote MT-82 Cecil County hit

    IMG_20171119_143353.jpg

Made the trip to Cecil County Dragway to do some testing. Pass was on pump E85. Race weight near 3,000 lbs. Got a few bugs to work out of it over the winter months. Good day in the sense I know what needs addressed. Pulling trans for about the 10th time. What else is new, lol! This is a naturally aspirated full bolt on car sporting a CJ intake manifold. Complete suspension upgrade. Lightened some.

Thanks Ron. Did you get yours out this year to the track? Any new mods planned?

I couldn't make the rescheduled track day. The coil overs and suspension goodies are on (thanks Mark!) the GT and I'm loving the handling. The Borla S-type axle backs are on too and I love how they sound. I popped my tuning cherry in October with help from Shaun at AED and the car feels significantly more responsive & stronger and I will enjoy being able to run it out in 4th without banging off the stock limiter. My best time last year was 12.76@114 on the stock Pirellis. Now I have Conti Extremes (275's) in back which grip significantly better on the street. I'm hoping for something in the 12.3x range without wheelhop when I make it to the track next year.

Awesome pass - impressive what you've gotten out of that car. I'm also curious where the 150 lbs of current dead weight is coming from....

Nail clippers, Q-tips, an all-over shave and a bottle of Turbo-Lax can shed some pounds!

80 lbs. replacing doors with glass ones and keeping power in them!

Light weight doors, HVAC removal, EVAP system delete, manual brakes (eliminates ABS manifold as well) Light weight rad and fan combo( 1 gallon of water is close to 8 lbs.) Might not be exactly 150 lbs.

Seems like the deeper 1st gear ratio 60' better, although that starting line was no where near Keystone's which surprised me. Keystone was -987' D/A that day! Too bad the trans. was hurt that day.
