If something is slightly wrong go to a doctor. It may end up being something far far more serious. Even if you don't have insurance go to a doctor or hospital.
Beginning of November my mother had some pains breathing. Went on until I got her to finally see a Doctor. Got her to go to a Med Express on 11/20. Now they didn't do a chest x-ray as she did not have the money for it. Which I would have paid for if she would have said something. With her symptoms she was diagnosed with possible pneumonia and pleurisy(every symptom of that). So ten days on an antibiotic which she said seemed to help. Until 12/8 having extreme difficulties breathing. Took her to an ER at nearby UPMC. Been admitted ever since with stage 4 cancer in breast, lungs(bad), bone, uterus. She is very good at hiding how bad she could be in pain until breathing became something she couldn't hide anymore. UPMC has treated her above and beyond what she ever expected with having no insurance.
She does have an extreme positive outlook and is willing to fight for all she has. Doctors have taken notice of this and managed to talk her to going to a nursing/rehab care to gain her strength. Which I agree would be better for her to gain her strength as she got weak being in hospital laying around on meds. They are to start chemo as soon as Monday or Tuesday and she is also gonna try a nano-encapsulated hemp oil(looked it up and the stuff she has is suppose to be very good for a great many things)
So again no matter how stubborn a loved one is. Keep insisting until they agree to go get medical help.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and best wishes to everyone.
