    Cam's car was an A8 and had the satin black hood. Those 2 things are worth like 5K. As much as I like driving a stick shift, they are no match for these new autos. If you want the fastest times then get the auto.

    I missed this thread because I was away on vacation.I knew about the damage though because I had just been texting with Cam the day after it happened. A real shame for sure. No one got hurt, stuff can be replaced.

    Thats a lot of money for sure but with such low miles someone will maybe try to clean it up and and somehow sanitize the title and resell it. If you had another complete wreck and swapped the interior, wiring etc might be ok. But the possible electrical gremlins would worry me. We will have to keep an eye on Ebay.

    I guess if you found a crashed dry hellcat for parts and sell everything you don't need you may be in business but that is a lot of money and work to take a chance. Beautiful car none the less. Maybe a new Gt500 for a replacement? I bet the price of those will be astronomical for a while.
