One thing also I don't think was mentioned. Do not, ever, use a Chlorinated cleaner to prep metal with if it's to be welded. The gas that is created(Phosgene) can kill if not seriously screw you up for life.

FYI, some brake cleaners are chlorinated.

Oh, definitely stay away from chlorinated brake cleen. To say it in short...you will die.
Look it up online. It just takes a teeny bit too.

I'm about half way between the Ohio river and Cranberry Twp. Takes me like 40 minutes to get to the airport. Could meet somewhere, near Beaver Valley Mall off 376, somewhere off of Interstate 79 like Mount Nebo or maybe Sewickley area or whatever works. I will have to gather some stuff up but could maybe meet up this weekend. If this might work send a PM and we will work it out.

Ron. Go down to metal supermarkets on Campbell’s run. Wolfpack mike is in the same building. I hear they are closing down the store and there is a lot of small stuff you could get for probably next to nothing. From building 14, it’s about a 5 minute drive on your hour lunch.
