we made really good progress today! wiring is almost done, vacuum lines are done, tq converter bolts are in, coolant hoses are done, arp wheel studs added to the rear, brake hoses hooked up.

biggest thing left now is the new exhaust setup and tuning

Just going to toss a quick update here. Saturday was kind of a kick in the nuts.

Got the last of the wiring sorted out, with the exception of a ground for the gauges, and a few connections for the trans computer. Put oil in the engine, filled the trans, then drained the trans, because of a massive leak at the pan. Need a new gasket.

Put 5 gallons of e85 in the tank, and an injector o-ring that was apparently pinched on installation (not by us) decided to let about a quart of fuel spew all over the place while trying to dial in fuel pressure.

So, out of the 3 fluids we put in the car, two decided that they weren't ready to be in there.

I reclocked the compressor housing, test fit the air to water unit and intercooler pipes and that all worked out, so at least that was a win.

This build has been very challenging, but in the end, this thing should scream, so it should be worth it.

If the fuel system has anything to do with it, it may self ignite.

Keep multiple fire extinguishers handy! Maybe install a halon system?

At this point, if it starts to burn, I will most likely dump gasoline on it.
