    Need help on a 5.4

So my budy has a 09 f250 with the 5.4 and called last nite saying the truck has no power on a hill or if he try's to pass someone one the hiway. Also said its popping through the intake and sounds like something is rattling on the front of the motor. Tried new plugs wires coils air filter checked the fuel pressure all that is good but truck is still running like shit. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Could be what John said...did any of the clips break where the harness goes to the coils? Those things are brittle little f’ers.

My 2005 F250 felt like it was running on 1 cylinder. Not even exaggerating. Ended up being the driver rear coil clip being busted. I had to use electrical tape to hold it in place. Problem solved.

of course...this was AFTER I changed plugs and coils and MF’d the truck for a few weeks.
