    Testing Friday night

Finally got my junk out to test Friday night. Pretty turned down, fought the clutch the first couple of passes, finally got it closer ...

This was about 6# less boost than I wa running at the end of last year, 200 rpm less launch, 2 degrees less timing. Hoping there is more in there ;)

my my god I love this transmission

It is amazing how well you know your car, and how quickly you sort things out.

It what is all this silly “200 less RPM’s” talk? Blasphemy! :-)

i actually wasn’t watching it close since I wasn’t trying to do anything. First couple of passes it was above 3000’, I think it was 2800’ on this pass.

Thats the sad thing for me, I’ve missed good spring air by the time I’ve got out.

i don’t know if it’s sorted out or just hid the problem, lol. Lots of good data on my junk.

everything I did friday was against my normal path. Needed data and stuck to the path.

Data log shows all is well .... All 4 gears TPS stays 100%, clutch Tuneup still needs some work by the graphs, fuel safe so it’s ready for a little more.

Clutch always slips, sort of ...

on the first 2 passes it wasn’t controlled and was stupid too much. Third pass I got it under control but was still too much slip, I think I know what it wants now but could be surprised using data from it being that hot. I guess we will see next time out if it blows the tires off, lol.

If you look look at the white line in the top pane that is RPM ... the RPM spike on the shifts is about twice what it should be, indeed RPM should go up, but like a flare... in that they keep climbing until the clutch catches and brings them back down. Should only be a couple hundred RPM, that was about 700 each gear.
