I met Lisa at the PVGP yesterday. If you are in the T-Type or GN crowd you probably know her. Great lady! Her low 9’s T-type is ridiculous. We talked for quite a while - wow is she knowledgeable. Anyway - I asked her about the tranny in her car (if it was a 200-R4 ) and she mentioned it is very expensive to build one that holds the power her car has made. She is running a Turbo 400 if I recall correctly. My point is - have you considered switching to a Turbo 400?

no need for a 400 at this power level. The 200r properly built
should hold 500-600 wheel with ease. I just don't want to go all the way out to mid ohio to have a trans done.

My cousin has a transmission shop in Morgantown, and could most likely build you one any way you want it. Don’t know if that’s any closer for you or not.

After going thru a couple of tranny shops, I've settled on J&S in Sharpsburg. I haven't had a problem with my C4 since they rebuilt it. They have been in business for a long time and are great to deal with. Ask for Rege and tell him Mustang Vince recommended him. 412-784-3380

That guy is a space cadet. Stay away from him. He still claims the government stole his ideas blah blah.

im friends with her brother. Saw her yesterday. (Yes, I actually took my SS out and put miles on it). She does run a 400. She is also right about serious Ching into a 200-4R as I did with mine. Over $3000 in mine plus another $875 for the PTC converter.

    I gotcha.
You do know I have that spare one here. Like I said though, I have no idea what’s inside it. It was rebuilt. I just don’t know what parts are in it. It was behind a stout small block and has a small converter on it. That’s all I know though.
