Hoping to make this. GT needs tires BAD! Ordering them this week. Also developed a bad spring pop sound from the passenger front the last few days, so I need to check that out. Just finished doing the timing chains / chain guides / chain tensioners / cam phasers / oil pump / VCT solenoids / etc job on my 5.4 3 valve F150, so now my garage is ready for working on something that doesn’t suck.

It was the job from hell! Driver side chain tensioner was completely shot, so that chain was flopping around like crazy making all kinds of racket. That threw off the VCT system causing awful performance and a CEL. Nobody wants to work on these motors without charging huge $$$$ so I bit the bullet and tore into it myself. I’m glad it is over, and it is safe to say this will be the last 5.4 3-valve I will own!
