I thought I saw a 10.09 from Bob. Personally I could not get any traction today.

Thanks for putting this on PJ! It was good to catch up with a few folks at the track and I got a new PB along the way. Got my big boat into the 9's! It was just barely and only one out of 5 runs, but it's officially a 9 second street car. Full interior, full weight, and on the tune I've put about 5,000 miles on since June. Went 9.97@142. Had my doubts when I ran 10.22 the first pass of the day, but I knew it had it in it when I went 10.06 the second run. Clicked off the 9 on the third pass, but couldn't back it up the rest of the day unfortunately and ran another 10.22 and a 10.34.

that could very well be...the ones I saw were 10.3 a few times and a 10.2...

Always fun watching a master of his craft get it done.

Great seeing some familiar faces. My only complaint would have to be there should be a cutoff on a private rental. The reason to pony up three times the money to do a rental is the chance to grudge race in a relaxed environment and get tons of opportunity to make plenty of runs. Four runs in four hours in a packed house was no different than a normal test and tune, only difference was no junior dragsters. Appreciate all the effort in putting these on, just my observation

Wowza. Is that typical for the mods it has?

Did you leave the baby seat in the back I hope????

It is fairly typical actually. I mean you need some good air and good track prep to make it happen, but I'm not setting any records with it. Sadly no baby seat in the back though! Should have tossed it in there just for comedic effect, lol!

It could probably go 2-3 tenths faster if I got a trans tune. That would let it shift at 6500 or so instead of 6000, but I think I'd need to get an aftermarket fuel system to do that on E85 so I'm not going that route. I'm happy with my 9 and I don't know if it'll see the track again honestly. For reference it went 10.37 at Quaker City in July so it's a solid low 10 second car even at a bad track in bad weather.
