    Fall track rental personal bests?

I ran my new personal best at the rental. 10.96@124.93.

My buddy Andy Thorn set a record for the fastest Eclipse Spyder with a 9.54@145.

    Anyone else set any PB's?

Was a lot of fast cars there today. First time I ran the cobra, or any manual car at a track in many years. Managed to run a 11.7 @123. Not to shabby for possibly the last non ported Eaton terminator left on the planet. Lol

We fought with my clutch most of the day ... did manage to bump my PB to 10.09@134. Identified some stuff that needs changed to do much better.

It came together for you yesterday. Consistent three pedal deal. Interested in seeing what the bump up in the ring and pinion will do and the extra 10 in the head.

you wont even be able to see over the steering wheel let alone reach the pedals ...

More gear, more RPM, and more time AT THE TRACK are needed, the trifecta of things that scare you to death.

I was pretty impressed. There's a bit more et left in it too. Was a little tentative on the launch so cut 1.8's iirc.

I also managed a PB. 11.89 @ 119 spinning through first gear. First time I ran 1/4 mile with the Kenne Bell on the 2V. The Nitto's hooked okay at GGG in the crap weather, but just would not work on Sunday. My best 60 foot at the rental was 1.86. The best at GGG was 1.70. I figure it should run 11.50 or so. The Quick Time Pro's are on the way. Hopefully I can get another day in before the end of the year.

I also managed a new personal best in my '88. Was hoping to pull off a 10.49 but only managed a 10.51. Still happy with the 3 passes I made - .51, .52 and .53

Car moved around the entire pass, but it didn’t loose much.

I came home Sunday, emptied the trailer, and called it a season.

Eh, I pretty much have enough data to say it isn't going to do much better without 1) like 2# more boost or 2) a much better 60' ... The boost is there but I've never looked at fuel at that level, running out of fuel even for a millisecond = melted shit ... the 60' needs gear, we threw more RPM at it every pass and it never improved 60' time ... Even If I could tag a stab at the fuel, if it made much more power its going to drive through what's left of the clutch. Car was put away running and I'm very happy with what it's done all season. I have said numerous times I don't really care if it ever goes 9.99 other than to say it's been done. My safety stuff is good to 10.00 and I've gone there.

I knew you have made enough passes to figure out what it needs ,I didn't know the clutch was on its way out ,I knew you have the new one that should fix that problem.
