    Black Bess

Tim put together the engine in Bess at the end of
2010 recording 342 rwhp. A year later at the end of
2011 we had the heads ported by Fox Lake & the lump
has been pumping out around 380 ever since then.
Well I decided that I wanted a little more so we added
a few cubes, some compression & a bigger cam.

In addition rocker stud girdles & a crank scaper were
    also installed. The results speak for themselves;

The new numbers are in my signature, the hp peak(426)
is about 400 rpm higher now but torque is around the
same rpm as before. A nice wide sweet spot is a plus.

My strut tower brace proves that there’s more
than one way to brace a strut. A labor of love

    New Hi/Low beams for Bess

My halogen upgraded low beams didn’t cut it.
The new 4”x6” seem to be trucklights.

I was having a problem with my 10 year old MSD distributor.
A DUI has taken its place so I’d like to see how that works out.
I have a DUI coil after 2 MSD coils failed on me already so we’re
hoping for some good fall weather at Keystone.
