    New Toy!

So my wife and I are the proud new owners of this 2004 Mystichrome Ford Mustang Cobra. Got such a great deal we could not pass it up. Only 25,000 miles. The car is already modified with the following:

    Bassaini “H” pipe
    Borla Exhaust
Saleen Rims with Nitto Drag Slicks
SCT Model BA2400 Mass Air Sensor
    Big Air Cold Air intake
    ACCUFAB Throttle Body
    Smaller Pulleys
    Maximum Motorsports Street Suspension
    Bilstein Coilovers
    Fluidyne Heat Exchanger
    Speedster Roadster Painted Tonneau Cover
    Styling Bar

It has a few paint chips here and there but I’m hoping that they will buff out. It also came with Lambo doors which I’m not sure I like, but other than that we could not be happier with our purchase.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Not sure either. The first owner put them on.

Sharp looking car, love the Mystichrome Terminators!

I have an accessory idler bracket and pulley that I'll be selling if you're in the market. Mounts next to the blower pulley for more belt wrap and less slippage.

I was going to recommend one of those when I saw the engine bay. It would definitely help prevent belt slip on this setup

The guy that sold me the car said he put on a smaller belt and has the trencher max out. I’m new to owning a car with a supercharger. I found pictures from the first owner and it looks like he had that accessory pulley and bracket on. Thanks for letting me know. It’s nice to have a group here to make suggestions to novice like me.

If I put that pulley back on would I need to replace the belt as well?

Where did this cobra come from? Do you paper work on it or tune information, maybe a handheld.

Got the car in Georgia. No info or handheld. Car was turned at Injected Engineering in North Atlanta.

It's possible you could need a longer belt if you add the auxiliary idler. Kinda just have to check and see. If the belt size was spot on to begin with then you'd likely need to get a longer one. This chart is a pretty good resource for belt sizes if you end up needing one... https://stangshiftergaskets.com/belt_length_chart.htm
