    I know a guy who had a transmission shop in Mars,Pa. for many years and he had a Aunt who bought a new 40 Ford coupe. She kept meticulous records of everything that was ever done to the car. When she passed, it was passed on to him. It was in excellent storage for many years. When they decided to make it road worthy, they put it back to when it was first purchased. It's a beautiful piece with full documentation.

    Car is absolutely perfect the way it is now. Man, I would get it running and run with it. I understand your desire to finish what was once started though. It would be nice to at least run it a year or two as is anyway.

    That’s the plan, at least a couple years. Doing the car correctly will be no cheap project. so until I can afford it this is how it will be...unless I would sell the cobra
