Wink I have a Foxbody problem

Realized I never did an intro post. Hi - I'm Chris, I have two Fox cars. 1986 SVO Competition Prep, my Dad bought it new and it's been in the family it's entire life. Mostly stock, but it does have an upgraded cam and a slightly larger turbo. Needs a heater core and tires, gotta do that soon...

I picked up a 1989 vert a few years ago, all stock Florida car with a T5. Last year had the engine rebuilt into a 347 stroker with TFS 170 heads (and 3.73 gears) by Tim Rodeheaver - who is an excellent human - go see him - with a bunch of other supporting mods and changes I did like electric fans and such and a bunch of engine bay resto/cleanup work. Fun thing to cruise around with my kids in. Looking forward to spring!

If you see me out, say hey.

Welcome - nice foxes! Tim is the man - he did the install and tune on my ‘66 drivetrain which happens to have a nice little 331 stroker.

Not many competition prep SVO’s around - very cool!
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I see that -- is that 486 to the wheels N/A?! My 347 put down 360 on his Mustang dyno with a conservative tune. I asked Tim not to go too crazy, plenty fast for a vert.

The SVO is a fun little car. Different for sure, but that's why I have the vert.

My 331 has help from a Paxton Novi 1200 making a little over 8 pounds of boost. Tim didn’t want to push it too hard and that was fine with me. That much power in a 3000 pound car on 225’s is plenty for me.

Tim’s shop is like a playground for gearheads.

That makes sense. :) The motor he built for me has a lower CR so if I ever wanted to put a little boost on... I could. :D

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
