    Paint Cost?

I've been looking around at some fox bodies and they all need paint. What would it (Ball Park) cost to have one done? Talking Oem color , with no body work. Just take off moldings and mask and sand. Is there a big difference in price between single stage paint and multi stage. I've never had a car repainted before. Thanks!

It will be a lot! Also you need to consider the color it is painted. Reds are more expensive also anything with the "pearl" in it is way more.

Considering painting a foxbody needing no bodywork is unlikely. With the age of these vehicles, there's bound to be bumps and bruises over the years. It's not worth simply painting over what needs repaired IMO. Have you considered maybe having a car wrapped instead of painted ?

Ball park for a decent paint job is 3-5k for a whole car.

    I agree 3-5 depending.

It is labor intensive for sure.

My buddy is going to be doing my 65 mustang here over the next year and I would expect 1500-2k just in paint and materials.

I had around $3000 in materials when I did my Monte a few years ago. That’s just materials. I also didn’t buy shit. All good stuff.

Had my car wrapped and it doesn’t hide any bodywork and starting to come loose Wrap Logic says they will repair but has done nothing after more than a year waiting
