That's a tough one. The GT350 will hold its value better in the long run.

If its drag racing, get the GT. The GT350 puts up pathetic numbers there.

I agree the GT350 will hold its value better. Has it had any oil consumption issues? What options?

That said, the GT will be more fun assuming it was built right and not thrashed.

Easy suspension upgrades can make the GT outhandle the 350.

I love the Recaros - especially in leather - so the GT wins there if it has leather.

    What color is each car?
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

    I’ve had both a 16 GT and a 18 Gt350.
The GT350 is a great car if it runs right. Ford has had so many issues with the 5.2’s it’s affected resale value.
It’s hit or miss if you get a good one.
A replacement 5.2 motor from Ford is around 28k.
The 16’s and 17 350s seem to be the one with the majority of the engine issues.
It’s my understanding they went to a Gen 2 version with the 2019 5.2.

When I get another I was leaning towards a GT just from a reliability standpoint.

Of those 2, I’d probably lean towards the GT350. Love the sound/rpms of the those. However, I’d really consider a Hellcat. Here is our orange Charger

My buddy has a 17gt350 and it’s a great car.

The extra rpm on a road coarse are really hard to beat.

Not sure how much endurance a blown 5.0 will have for comparison.

A lot of neat features on the gt350 as well.

The other consideration for you may be warranty?

What more could you ask for other than a 700 HP 4-door family sedan?! Haha

Has all the creature comforts you could want and really fun and comfortable car to drive. Only problem I’ve found is the “go pedal” is addicting and can get you in trouble if you’re not careful!

Wow that orange is super nice - but I see how there is absolutely no stealth mode in that car!

Hellcat is a fantastic car. Never had a charger but the challenger is super comfortable, lots of room, insane power bone stock and modded is a monster. It absolutely doesn't feel as heavy as it is. I'd at least drive one before you make a final choice
