well i was applying for a job with allegheny power last night....and i filled out all the questions....then came to this one:

In the last 5 years how many jobs have you had

well for 3 years i had worked 2 jobs at a time...so i had 6 total jobs....and that was the next to last question...and then after i completed it it said sorry based of your answers you do not meet the qualifications we are looking for.

im totally pissed off now that becuase i had worked two jobs at a time for a while that it made me look bad. why couldnt they have let me submit a resume or something....or even a normal application so they could see the emplyment dates....i dont change jobs alot, cuz i dont like change.....

man im pissed.

That sucks man. Pretty soon there is going to be no actual human contact for any job interviews it's a bunch of BS.

I feel for ya. They want to see you work at one place and for a while. Sometimes more than one job is frowned upon too.

if anything to me it makes it look like you have a strong desire to work.... plus unfortunately some of us need to pay off college asap.

im in surveying now. but i am looking for something to make good $$$ and get insurance and benefits. i applied at allegheney and this is what happened.....i have a test for the USPS next tuesday.
