    What is everyone up to?

    Hello All

    What is everyone up to?

Are you working, working from home, furloughed or what ?

What are you accomplishing during this time of stay at home?

i am working everyday at the office, not full time as usual, as our building is closed until at least 4/30.

i am working on stuff around the house, mostly cleaning and organizing.

looking forward to the warmer weather to work on the garage and do a few car mods.

It’s business as usual at FedEx. We are crazy busy. I did get a few new parts on the SHO so I’m just waiting for things to open back up to hit the track.

    This site lives!

I’ve been goofing off same as usual, just not in the same places. I haven’t had
the opportunity to waste nearly as many people’s time lately though. So I’ll
try my hand at it here.

I'm supposed to be moving back to Pittsburgh this weekend, but my new company's office is closed. I expect to be working from CT for the next month.

Laid off for the first time ever. Worked for my current employer for over 30 years. Looks like they will be closed all month.

Been working. In shop only last two weeks and we are caught up. Friday will be last day for two weeks. My boss will head in every few days to see if parts came in or something needs done. Then will let one of us know to come in next day to get something fixed. Many jobs we had to cancel and reschedule and others the customers told us not to come. Many fire departments not letting anyone in. Those of us in the shop get paid for next two weeks. Sucks as we are commission based so lose that pay from any work we do. Base rate is ok but I had 15 days of vacation from last year not used that I get paid for those next week also.

Office people working from home and only 3 will head in every day. Warehouse guys stuck working. One guy in warehouse went to Florida 3 weeks ago. Was told to stay home for two weeks and now gets two more. That's 5 weeks of paid vacation and I am sure it bugs the crap out of someone else in warehouse like no other. Which makes me laugh.

Not sure what I will do. Car is at work and only time I can work on it there are weekends. If I could spend a solid two weeks on that, would be so nice. I really need a garage to work in where I don't have to clean up and put everything away when done.

Been working from home which is somewhat normal for me. Having a 9 month old and a two year old running around while you're tying to work and have conference calls isn't the easiest thing to do. Keep reminding myself it's nice to have the family time but it is certainly stressful at times.

I am laid off for now not sure when i'm going back. My girlfriend is working from home she is a inside sales person for Alro Steel.
I have been trying to keep busy around the house. Yard work, painting, detailing the car, and running the errands etc.etc. (yes I practice social distancing when I do go out)

Working from home and picked up an involuntary 2nd job of helping my wife get all of her business online. Also started taking my car back apart to try and get it a little higher off the ground, and fix the front bumper again, plus add some other goods (rear bumpsteer kit, solid rack bushings, stainless brake lines, new rear control arm bushings).

I’ve been work from home, but also furloughed a week a month it’s looking like. I already had one in March, and will take a week later in April. Sort of expect that to continue for a few more months anyway.

on the car front, finally fought through delays and got my new short block together. Waiting on my clutch back from rebuild then can start assembly
