    NMRA Finals Bowling Green

Went to the NMRA race in Bowling Green this weekend. It’s always a good time, but had a solid weekend racing too...

won 10.00 in True Street. There was around 140 cars entered, the little 4 banger ended up 8th overall, and best 10 second average

I also qualified #3 of the quick 8 stick cars for the Tremec shootout.won 1st round, lost 2nd round in that.

lots of plaques, swag, and a little money back. Silly 4 banger did work

the challenge with a straight answer is frequency.

there are several, Larame and Flanders run 7’s and 8’s respectively but run just a few times a year. Fred House runs low 7’s and races a lot (tube chassis thunderbird),

there’s 4 or 5 of us in the 9’s when we want to be. A couple of the. Race a fair amount.

the odds of running into one are getting thin I guess. The platform is sure getting long in the tooth.
