    Question Signature/Avatars ??

    Ok,

I haven't been here very long, and I've managed to get a few pics off my pc, but every time I try to update my signature or avatar with a better photo, I always get a message that what I'm using is too big. I have gone in a reduced the size of my pics and even that doesn't help. The more I'm on here I keep seeing all these huge signatures with pics of the whole car. So far all I've gotten was a fender badge. Someone please tell me what I'm doin' wrong here. Thanks.

The huge pictures you are seeing are hosted elsewhere on the internet. If you are uploading a picture to this site, there is a limit on the size the image can be.

but still dont make the pic too big. use photoshop or something to make the size reasonable.

I have found that no matter the size of the pic, if I host it one somewhere like myspace, and then use that url to put it on here, it fits. I think the type of file matters too (jpeg or bmp or...)

You can host any size picture elsewhere and link it to your sig. Just keep it reasonable.
