I didn’t watch it live but it was great. Those were the good old days of racing and that magazine was the best. It was as thick as a mini phone book every month. It was fun to hear them rehash the glory years! Too bad Campy is now a Chevy guy:)

Evan has started trying these YouTube live things I guess every Monday. Indeed, I wanted for the mag every month, before the big days of the Internet, lol. It’s pretty neat to me that I know some of these guys well enough that we can talk. Since I started racing NMRA he has always stopped by and said hello and snapped a picture or 2.

It’s pretty amazing the people I know, people I can call friends, from back in the day and current times that you see in magazines or I guess Facebook today. It’s pretty humbling to have some of these folks in my phone or messenger apps and actually talk with them. Evan hit that pretty well, you might not know my name, but I’m sure you know the car, lol.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
That has to make all you hard work on that car worth it!
eh, I’ve always done my car for my own entertainment. Now that the car has exceeded every goal I’ve tried to do with it, there is a meme out there about drag racing not being about the work or the glory, but the friends you make along the way. I can’t overstate how many very good friends I’ve made doing this stuff. It’s really cool.
