I have runnered up in this before, but FINALLY put everything together to win one.

Lol, the back story on the dog….
last pass, I crossed the finish line and proceeded to slow down. We was the last pair of the entire event.
first, about half way through the shut down, I started to get water on my windshield. Thought shit, I had pushed water, but it was ever so slight rain. We just got the show in and the rain came.
as soon as we turned in to the return road, they set off fire works that was lining the length of the trac. Scared the ever living hell out of me as I was t expecting it. While I was looking at them, caught out the corner of my eye a dog ran right across the nose of my car, obviously freaked out by the fireworks. I slammed the brakes, he got by and I started to move again. Runner up was right behind me, and the dog turned around and ran right back across behind me, and in front of him. We both nearly hit this poor dog.
if you look close at my victory lane picture you can see we did that whole deal in a light rain. It took a while with everything they wanted to do and we was soaked.
in the end, we was back at the true street tent and the dog was there and fine.

I see you won a clutch setup and a NASCAR experience. Just curious on the experience. Any details?
I’m working with them on the clutch now. They are going to build me another slipper.
I frankly don’t know what the driving thing is yet, other than it’s apparently pricey. The tech guy I’ve been talking to about my clutch said he is going to send me an email but he actually didn’t know what it was either.
