If anyone is new to drag racing, basic tech is: Tires can't be showing cords/belts, all wheel studs and lug nuts must be on, battery hold down (stock is fine), radiator overflow (stock is fine), driver must wear seat belt, helmet needed at 13.99 and quicker in the 1/4. Cars slower than 14.00 may take a passenger down; passenger must be 16 or older.

If you get out of shape, if you're blacktracking/spinning through the gears, if your car is making an ungodly noise that isn't normal, if you're on fire/smoking, if your windshield is covered with fluids, if your gauges are pegged in the wrong direction, if you are looking at the guardrail through your windshield instead of the finish line, lift off of the gas and pull it over as safely as you can. The track crew will come get you and tow you off if you're broken, no charge.
