Oakmont Car Show - Father's day

I wanted to make everyone aware of the return of the Oakmont Car show on Father's day weekend. A little history: This event has gone on for 65 years until 2019. It was held at Riverside park in Oakmont. Nice venue on the grass with plenty of shade. As you know, some shows can get awfully warm on asphalt! Anyway, it was canceled in 2020 due to COVID and the event planner passed away in 2021. Therefore there was no event last year either. I started asking around how to get this re-started. Working with the local Lions Club and previous show attendees, I am proud to say I am now one of the organizers of this event. I really cannot think of a better what to spend Father's Day with your Father or kids than this event. Another benefit is that it starts at 9 and ends at 3. This gives you time to go back home and have a cook out! If you can attend, that would be awesome! Your support will allow this event to continue on for generations! Thanks!

Well, the show was a huge success. The perfect weather sure did help! We were able to raise over $3000 for the local charities!
