    Question HP problem

    I have an 89 notch, some slight mods done, trickflow stage 1 cam, trickflow upper and lower intake mac headers, Pro M mass air, a bbk cold air intake 24#'s 70 mm tb. a few other little things, neway
    heres my problem. I have NO power... I talked to lou and he thought maybe vacuum leak. Tried what he said and nothing, (idle didn't pick up with carb cleaner sprayed around intake gaskets) bought new plugs and wires, FMS wires.
    Tried to drop clutch and burn out in 2nd and it just falls on its face. It spins a little then flop. Could the timing be that off? or what, help me out guys..
    Been working on it all day and can't figure anything out.

    Did you put a timing light on it because timing will make it feel like it has no power.

    Yeah we timed it I even called my buddy up and made sure he put it in time. He said he's possitive its in. Although I have a computer thats a reman comp and im now wondering if thats my problem. need to find a site that I can look up that comp and see what it is. The 4 letters on the comp are C3W1, if anyone knows anything about those.

    I know that the 89-93 comp. were A9L for sticks and A9P for autos and the cobra had its own but I can't remember its name.

    The c3W1 should be fine unless the computer is bad.

    the c3w1 is the ford motorsport conversion computer, have one in my lincoln, it's for an auto

    Rookie question, but did you make sure to pull the spout connector out before setting the timing?

    I had the same issue. When I jumped on it, it just bogged down and slowly picked up. Turned out to be a faulty TFI and stator
