    Angry Clutch blew out

    yea its now 3:15 AM and i just got home from having my car towed home my F***ing clutch blew out on my way home from work, i was just down shifting to go through the toll booth on 66 and POP! the clutch pedal went limp.

    Are you sure it's the clutch? It sounds like the clutch cable to me. that is an easy/cheap fix.

    agreed clutch cable probably snapped, you would of almost of had to gernaded the disk to have just stop working all together

    Also, check to see if your quadrant crushed....if its stock - its plastic.

    i'm also in with these guys, if your clutch blew out, trust me you would have heard al kinds of shit flying and grinding up. your cable probably just snapped, it's pretty common.

    I did hear stuff flying around and there was a big vibration i'm sure the clutch disc shatterd

    yea i just got bak from checking it i took the plate off where the cable hooks the clutch and plate fibers and fragments fell out

    what kind of a clutch was it. i have never heard anyone blow one up i know they say they do it and thats why u need a blow proof bell but i have never heard about it happening. just curious

    it just shatterd, pieces of the clutch plate fell out when i took the cover off that protects the clutch cable. it was the stock clutch by the way lol POS
